Meet Your Teacher

DR. ASHLEY HILTON

MBBS, BDS

I got into medical school the first time I tried at 17 years old. I went to my local state school where I was the only person who went to medical school from my year. I then decided I wanted to pursue a specialty called Maxillofacial surgery, where in the UK, surgeons have to hold a degree in both medicine and dentistry. To do this, I got onto the most competitive medical course in Europe where 130 people compete for just 10 places. How did I manage to come from a school where no-one even got an interview for medicine, to getting onto one of the most competitive medical courses in the world? I learned to use the resources around me and knew how to stand out, and I can teach you this too.

Due to my success with applying and mentoring others, some of my bosses began asking me to teach their children to get into medical school, of which I have a 100% first time success rate with all my mentees.

What’s more is that I know what it’s like to be on both sides of the fence. I have sat on interview panels and can tell you from first-hand experience exactly what makes interviewees claim or throw away their spot at medical school. Anyone, with the right strategies and guidance, can get into medical school. Let me show you how.
