Hopefully, at this point, you’re starting to hear back from medical schools (but if you haven’t, don’t panic! There’s still plenty of time)! It’s always great to start preparing for interviews, whether they’re MMIs or panel interviews. Something that may be useful to keep in mind while preparing for those interviews is whether you’ll have to travel for them, or if you’ll be doing them virtually. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the new variants mean that a lot of schools have had to move their interviews to be conducted online instead.
Here’s a useful list of what medical schools have already announced whether their interviews will be face to face, or done virtually.
It’s important to remember that these could change depending on the pandemic situation, so keep a close eye on the interview section of the websites of the medical schools you applied to.
Make sure you take a look at our Guide To UK Medical School Interviews article to familiarize yourself with the different types of interviews that we’ll mention below!
